Hier ist er also – mein erster Artikel aus den Staaten. Ich werde heute nochmal auf Deutsch schreiben, weil es einfach gut tut (auch schon nach drei Tagen) und ich kann mich ja dann trotzdem noch ein bisschen besser ausdruecken als auf English.
Nunja, als erstes mal viele Gruesse an zu Hause. Vorallem an Mama, Papa, Thomas und Martin. Ich war wirklich traurig, dass wir uns nicht mehr sehen konnten. Also fuehlt euch bitte ganz doll umarmt und danke fuer das, was ihr in mein Abschiedsbuch geschrieben habt. Das war wirklich alles total lieb. Ich musste auch ein bisschen weinen deshalb. Aber macht euch keine Sorgen alles ist soweit in Ordnung und selbst wenn etwas wrong waere wuerde ich es nicht schreiben, weil ihr sowieso nichts machen koenntet. Hoffentlich hattet ihr ein wundervolles Wochenende in Amsterdam!
Also hier kommt jetzt nichts Negatives fuer euch, sondern nur Positives!
Mein erster Flug war total langweilig und mir war einfach nur den ganzen Tag lang schlecht. Ich glaube ich vertrage das mit dem Fliegen nicht so wirklich. Aber natuerlich war es spannend durch die Immigration in Washington zu gehen und den Chicago Airport mit Fabian zu erkunden. Als ich dann in dem kleinen Flugzeug das erste Mal Green Bay von oben sah, war das ein tolles Gefuehl.
Meine Familie ist aber kind of boring as they don’t do anything with me at the moment. I just try to stay busy as I don’t want to get homesick that early! I can tell you that I’ll be lucky to go to school as I went there for my first band practice today and had quite a lot of fun with all those kids there. My band director is funny and the band is a whole mess. I mean everybody is just playing what everybody wants to play *haha*
Moreover I signed up for cross country today which is just running around in parks and stuff… I think it’ll be fun. Bay Port High is really big and I’m supposed to get lost the first few weeks. It is BIG!
I saw Lake Michigan yesterday or the day before yesterday (can’t remember *hahaha*). I went to Cave Point Public Park with Tracey, Vivien and another exchange student from Russia. We had lots of fun there and Lake Michigan really looks like a sea as it is so big. The nature around it is just wonderful and we spend a great time together. We also drove through the area around Green Bay and the nature is really pretty! I ate my first brownie, chocolate chip cookie and hamburger & french fries on that trip.
Morgen geh ich wieder in die Schule fuer Band Practice. Naechste Woche faengt dann Cross Country an. Jeden Tag um acht morgens fuer zwei Stunden… RENNEN! Der wirkliche Unterricht faengt dann erst im Semptember an.
Ich habe gerade das Gefuehl, dass sowohl mein Deutsch als auch mein English schlecht sind, weil ich nur so kurze Saetze aufschreibe. But who cares?
